Tuesday January 28th, Primary Election Day for the Presidential preference. A day many pundits predicted that since the Democrats votes "didn't count" the voters wouldn't turn out. Well once again the pundits were wrong. The Democrats came out, and came out in historic fashion. And more importantly their votes mattered because the rest of the country (and world) heard about the amazing turn out and they got a sense of where voter's minds and hearts were.

During a time of unprecedented economic hardship locally and across the country, we have found out where Vern Buchanan thinks our tax dollars should be spent...pumping up his own campaign! As the Sarasota Herald Tribune reported today, Buchanan has spent thousands on calls and mailers full of campaign rhetoric and self-promotion, and taxpayers are footing the bill.

As we celebrate the beginning of the New Year we are also marking the official launch of our new website and new blog.

We encourage you to come back often for updates about the campaign's progress and information on upcoming events. Also check in for ways you can help Christine and make sure that District 13 has leadership that can be trusted!

Christine has shown by example that she finishes what she starts and can be counted on to get the job done. She will continue to work hard to help change the direction of the country and bring new, responsible representation to Washington for the 13th District of Florida.
